Einar entered the Intellectual Property field after studying and working in scientific research in Iceland and the United States. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University. Einar specializes in the patenting of biotechnology, chemistry and pharmacology. Einar has extensive experience in foreign prosecution and is also involved with legal opinions regarding infringement, validity and patentability. He is a member of AIPPI and the current president of the Icelandic Association of Patent and Trademark Representatives (FUVE) and Icelandic representative on the Council of the epi (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office)..
